Biora Therapeutics appoints chief medical officer

Ariella Kelman, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer of Biora Therapeutics, a biotechnology company focusing on needle-free delivery of therapeutics.

Dr. Kelman joins Biora from Human Immunology Biosciences, where she led clinical development on immune-mediated conditions, according to a May 2 news release. She previously spent 15 years at Roche’s Genentech leading clinical development on autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Kelman also treated patients for ten years as an attending physician in the division of immunology and radiology at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, Cal.
