Dr. Groom is currently a family medicine and obstetric physician at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She also serves as the lead physician at Lakes Regional Family Medicine and is a board member of the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Groom will start in the role in February. Kevin Post, DO, who serves as the CMO for Avera Health, said that Dr. Groom will focus on physician relationships, clinician well-being and engagement, care quality, service lines and leadership development.
