Dr. Farst currently serves as chief of medical staff for ACH’s child maltreatment program, according to an Aug. 17 news release. She also teaches as a professor of pediatrics and section chief of children at risk in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, also in Little Rock.
Dr. Farst was the first physician board-certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics in the state of Arkansas and has served two terms on the Child Abuse sub-board of the American Board of Pediatrics.
She will transition into her new role over the course of the hospital’s fiscal year, the release said.
