Dr. Kim previously served as chief medical officer from 2013 to 2018, according to a Sept. 6 news release. He went on to serve as chief medical officer for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation before leading CareConnect MD as chief clinical officer.
During his first stint as chief medical officer, Dr. Kim co-developed, built and managed Alignment’s clinical operations team, the release said.
