Dr. Offodile has served as enterprise executive director for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston since 2018, according to an April 24 news release. He is currently a nonresident scholar in health policy at the Baker Institute for Public Policy’s Center for Health and Biosciences, also in Houston.
Dr. Offodile’s additional leadership experience includes serving as the policy advisor to the patient care models group director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and special advisor to the president of National Academy of Medicine on the Regional Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative.
In this new role, he will be responsible for developing new strategies, initiatives and collaborations with outside groups. Dr. Offodile also plans to see patients on a limited basis, the release said.
