Globe Medical Realty Advisors, a Dallas-based medical tenant representation firm, has launched a national data platform that gives independent physician practices market intelligence previously reserved for hospital systems and developers.
According to a July 29 news release, the platform, built on GMRA’s patent-pending process and billing data from healthcare data provider Alpha Sophia, generates revenue analytics for a single practice address and specialty.
A physician enters an address and specialty, and within 24 to 48 hours a licensed medical real estate advisor delivers a hand-reviewed report showing local procedure volume, competing providers billing the same codes, and whether the market has room to grow. The platform is available nationwide to independent practices and non-hospital-affiliated physician groups, regardless of broker relationship. Under an exclusive data agreement, GMRA is the only U.S. real estate brokerage using Alpha Sophia’s clinical billing data.
“Independent practices make some of the biggest real estate decisions of any small business with the least information,” said Dr. Erin Winston of Austin Breast Imaging. “Having procedure-level market data for my own specialty in front of me is the difference between guessing and knowing.”
GMRA said its own clients will continue to receive the data at no cost, with the new platform extending the same underlying analysis to independent physicians nationwide.
