Dr. Rosenblatt will continue to serve as executive dean. He is also a professor of ophthalmology at the college of medicine and a board-certified ophthalmologist.
Before UIC, Dr. Rosenblatt was a faculty member in the department of ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, according to a March 20 press release.
