CellMax Life expands GI medical advisory board

Molecular diagnostics company CellMax Life has expanded its medical advisory board to add GI and colorectal cancer experts to the team.

It added four new members to its board, according to a Feb. 21 press release. 

Four new CellMax Life board members: 

1. Douglas Rex, MD: Dr. Rex is a distinguished professor emeritus of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He is an expert on colorectal cancer and has authored more than 330 research papers. 

2. Aasma Shaukat, MD: Dr. Shaukat is a professor of medicine at New York University Grossman School of Medicine in New York City. 

3. Brooks Cash, MD: Dr. Cash is chief of the division of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is an expert in colorectal cancer testing and has authored more than 250 individual research papers. 

4. Jack Di Palma, MD: Dr. Di Palma is program director of the division of gastroenterology at University of South Alabama Health and the director of the section of inflammatory bowel diseases at University of South Alabama Health in Mobile.
