8 new chief medical officers in 2 weeks

Here are eight newly appointed chief medical officers reported by Becker’s since Feb. 1:

  1. Timothy Tesmer, MD, was named the next chief medical officer of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Public Health.
  1. Healthcare services organization Avita Care Solutions appointed Christopher Hall, MD, as its first chief medical officer. 
  1. Andrew McNamara, MD, was selected to serve as the first chief medical officer of Trilogy Health Services, which operates nearly 130 senior living communities in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
  1. Dr. Roger Sidhu was named chief medical officer of Treadwell Therapeutics, a biotechnology company based in New York City and focused on the treatment of patients with cancer.
  1. Jessica McHugh, MD, was named chief medical officer of MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Wash.
  1. Teaneck, N.J.-based Holy Name Medical Center named Vasantha Kondamudi, MD, as its new chief medical officer following a yearlong search.
  1. Liberty (Mo.) Hospital named Chakshu Gupta, MD, its new chief medical officer.
  1. Jerilyn Morrissey, MD, was appointed chief medical officer of CorroHealth, a medical consulting and analytics company.
