Tend Health, a clinician-focused mental health provider, and SafeHavenMD, a physician-led peer support platform, have formed a strategic partnership to expand access to confidential mental health care for physicians nationwide.
According to a Feb. 9 news release, Tend Health will serve as SafeHavenMD’s clinical care partner under the new partnership. SafeHavenMD members will gain confidential access to counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatry and evidence-based medication management through the collaboration.
The organizations said the model is designed to create a continuum of care that connects peer support with expert clinical services tailored to physicians, with the goal of reducing barriers to seeking help.
