Dr. Manyon first joined the Jacobs School in 1995 as creator and director of clinical skills courses for first-year medical students, according to a Feb. 6 letter from the school. Following this role, she went on to serve as chair of family medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
Since returning to the Jacobs School, Dr. Manyon has overseen the department of family medicine’s primary care research institute. She also has experience as president and CEO of UBMD Family Medicine and chair of the board of directors for the Academic Health Professionals Insurance Association.
