Karen Faulis, MSN, RN, CEO of Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, Calif., will take over as CEO of JFK Memorial.
Mr. Honts plans to stay on at the hospital in a consulting role until May 1, helping the system through the leadership transition.
Ms. Faulis began her medical career as a nurse before moving into hospital administration. She has been CEO of Hi-Desert since 2016.
