Outcomes Matter Innovations appoints Dr. Andrew Pecora as CEO

Andrew Pecora, MD, has been named CEO of Outcomes Matter Innovations, a technology company focusing on providing management services for providers in the Northeast and facilitating values-based care reimbursement for specialty physicians.

Dr. Pecora has been with OMI since its inception, according to a Jan. 23 release announcing his appointment. During his time there, he has overseen the development of OMI’s management services and site research organization businesses.

OMI has also developed value-based care programs in pulmonology, ophthalmology and breast cancer under Dr. Pecora’s leadership. These programs aim to maintain clinical outcomes for patients while lowering the cost for health plans and government payers, the release said.

Dr. Pecora is the founder and chairman of oncology technology company Cota. He has also conducted research funded by the National Cancer Institute and the AHEPA Research Foundation.

OMI also named Benjamin Schoen executive vice president and chief business officer.
