Dr. Cherny is the medical director of the Des Moines-based Heartland Plastic Surgery ASC. He also serves as an adjunct professor of surgery at Des Moines University and site director for clinical training at the University of Iowa’s plastic surgery residency program
Dr. Cherny is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society and a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Medicine.
