Physician named president of Boston Medical Center

Anthony Hollenberg, MD, has been appointed president of Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Hollenberg, an endocrinologist, has served as physician-in-chief at the hospital since 2022, according to a May 16 news release from BMC. He also serves as chair of Boston University’s department of medicine.

The health system said it plans to launch a search to fill both of Dr. Hollenberg’s current roles.
