Dr. Crandall, a general surgeon, previously served as the acute care vision chief at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, according to a March 25 news release from the health system. She has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles and was invited to be a reviewer for the CDC’s research grants to prevent firearm-related violence and injuries.
The health system also named Dr. Crandall the Richard B. Fratianne, MD, Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland.
