Henry Schein took certain systems offline and other steps to contain the incident, which led to a temporary disruption of some business operations, according to an Oct. 15 news release from the company. Practice management software was not disrupted.
The company alerted outside cybersecurity experts and law enforcement authorities to the situation, according to the release.
