The program recognizes healthcare organizations that have made efforts to address the systemic causes of physician burnout in areas such as commitment, assessment, leadership, teamwork, peer support and practice-environment efficiency, according to an Oct. 4 article from the AMA.
The Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program awards three levels of recognition: bronze, silver and gold.
