Nemours Children’s Health appoints enterprise physician-in-chief

Matthew Davis, MD, has been appointed executive vice president, enterprise physician-in-chief and chief scientific officer of Wilmington, Del.-based Nemours Children’s Health.

Dr. Davis joins Nemours from Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he served as pediatrics chair, executive vice president and chief of community health transformation, according to a Sept. 18 news release.

In his new roles, Dr. Davis will oversee all clinical and research activities and growth for the more than 70 locations included in the pediatric healthcare system beginning Nov. 1.
