Englewood Health appoints 3 physician leaders

Englewood (N.J.) Health has appointed three new physician leaders to oversee a variety of specialties.

Howard Mazin, MD, will serve as chief of pediatrics and newborn medicine, according to an email release shared Sept. 14 with Becker’s. He joined Englewood Health in 2011 and also currently teaches as an assistant professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley, N.J.

Dennis Katechis, DO, has been named chief of noninvasive cardiology and has been with Englewood Health since 2007, where he assists in the training of residents. He also teaches as an assistant cardiology professor at Hackensack.

Finally, Sabena Ramsetty, MD, was appointed chief of infectious disease. She has been with Englewood since 2017, where she provides care for patients with a wide range of illnesses including HIV/AIDS, MRSA and postoperative infections, the release said.
