Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation names Dr. Franck Rahaghi CEO

Franck Rahaghi, MD, will take over as president, CEO and chief medical officer of The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, effective Sept. 15.

The organization selected Dr. Rahaghi based on his commitment to care, research and education in interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis, according to a Sept. 5 news release from the foundation. 

Dr. Rahaghi, a pulmonary medicine and critical care specialist, currently serves as director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Program at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, a clinical professor of medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and has written 48 peer-reviewed publications, according to the release.
