HB 1403, or “Protections of Medical Conscience,” reads that a healthcare provider or payer cannot be discriminated against, face adverse action for or be civilly liable for refusing to perform or pay for a specific medical procedure, but doesn’t list any specific procedures.
The bill will now move forward to Gov. Ron DeSantis for consideration.
