Kurt Peterson, DO, has joined the team of specialists at Phoenix-based Advanced Fertility Care.
Dr. Peterson is a double board-certified physician in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology, according to a March 2 news release. He specializes in the treatment of fibroids, minimally invasive surgery, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, social egg freezing, onco-fertility preservation, third-party fertility treatment, male infertility and LGBTQ family building.
He has also received multiple awards for his research, including the Chairperson's Research Award from the University of Cincinnati's OB-GYN department and a research grant from Ferring Pharmaceuticals for his work on an endometriosis mouse model.
"Guiding individuals on their fertility journey brings me immense joy and fulfillment," Dr. Peterson said in the release. "My aim is to build a trustworthy relationship with each patient to provide the best care and support in achieving their dreams of building their family."
